I find Pilchard's observation interesting that Cic and Dogs have been like two peas in a pod when it came to their voting patterns. I'm off to have a look as to whether Dogs' votes came before or after Cic's.

pizzabynight:Did you see that question above about what Nside was driving at re: the considered no-hit on Night Two and the "known innocent" business ?

My guess there is that the doc must have protected one of my denmates that night and if they had gone for a no hit, it would have worked wonderfully.

IF you had never played with him in mafia, and just read his posts on ITH, you might conclude that he would be very active later in the game. So maybe the two remaining mafia are newbies to the game.

MX, Nside said: It would not have worked in the way they hoped and once MX died it became moot.

"My guess there is that the doc must have protected one of my denmates that night and if they had gone for a no hit, it would have worked wonderfully."

And then one has to ask who would be most likely to receive doctor protection. If it's time for the Cybrarian Challenge, Round Two and I pit Pilchard against Wynton, I'd have to vote against Pilchard, based on this particular consideration.
  3.
My query about Dogs/Cic is just an exercise to see if Dogs might be the traitor - quietly broadcasting a message to the mob by mirroring Cic.

KT, they killed him because he wasn't likely to be protected AND he voted for an innocent, which made him not the traitor... In a drunk moment, I cocked up my logic about how this went down regarding Buzz...

I thought Dogs was cleared in here ... If he's not, a cicerius/Irish/dogs bad guy slate fits.
  5.
    On Day One

    1. Cic votes SJ
    2. Dogs votes Wynton
    3. Dogs votes SJ

    On Day Two

    1. Dogs votes Cyb
    2. Cic votes Pilchard
    3. Cic votes Cyb under pressure in the last few minutes

Dogs was one of MX's traitor candidates and I was wondering if Dog's votes were mirroring Cic's but it looks like I was barking... (I will spare you the rest of the cliche)

    (there...that looks better)

Nutjob: ‚??I dunno .. mx, are you pulling fast ones in here?‚?Ě

Here‚??s why some of the data that has come our way in the Dead Thread might have less than that ‚??bacon‚?Ě smell to it. These quotes come from the latter half of page 2 as Nside and MX are speculating as to what course the Mafia will take re: their Night Three hit‚?¶.

Nside: ‚??I have inside information, but I think that the choice for the mafia is somewhat clear. They have to go for someone that everyone trusts is innocent, I think. If it was me, I'd choose between Pie, Pilchard, San and Wynton. I'd probably go Wynton or San, because I'd worry Pie or Pilchard would be protected by the doc, but any of the four would be good, I think. However, this is the group that offed SJ on night two and considered what would have been the biggest FPS move ever fairly seriously on that night, so it could be anyone.‚?Ě

MX: ‚??I have to agree with most of what you say there, but I would have to remove San from that list. I think it likely there could be a movement against him tomorrow, so Pie, Pilchard or Wynton for me.‚?Ě

    Day one lynch...
Cyb voted for mx and gave him 2 votes.
Then pilch and wynton vote for mx. Mx is vote leader for lynching.

Cyb then changes his vote off of mx.

Then later mx votes cyb..."as a leader against me", BUT cyb's vote had been changed.

    CONCLUSION: CYB MOBBED UP

The funny thing is right in the midst of those comments I solicit a confirmation that the two mafia can be found among..

    Cicerius
    Pie
    Pilchard
    Wynton

and he says that would be correct.

(cavaeat: I did qualify my solicitation to read "based on the pool you provided us")

If the info we've been given is straight then yes.

Dogs was talking about all the different reasons Pie may have been hit on Night Three and I note that Pie voted for Cyb on Day Two. That could be construed as an argument for why a Cyb could be in the mob (they feared that Pie would not relent on Cyb) [or it could be misdirection]. I like the way that Cyb has been stirring the pot lately and would be inclined to see him as inno.

That is a pretty good second or third-level thinking kind of protection IMO
  11.
The traitor has played an interesting game. I don't think that the mafia have any clue who they are and that might prove fatal to them. The only way I can see the mafia winning is if the traitor survives to the end game or if one mafia players leads the charge very aggressively against the other and achieves "certain innocent" status.

I agree. If I was mafia, I would have had Wynton very high on my target list, thinking he was safe. Knowing this (which of course the mafia doesn't), hitting San might be wise. The doc might go second or third level again. I find it interesting that the doctor tends to do that a lot, even in the very first game.
  13.
"That is a pretty good second or third-level thinking kind of protection IMO"

Wish he had been practicing that on Night One

"The doc actually protected Wynton, which I thought was a very interesting choice."

I would not do too well on the Cybrarian Challenge Game Show.

I think one of the mafia could go very easily today or tomorrow latest. I have a theory as to why the last one can't win -- but I don't want to share it yet.

Well, I know Dogs has downplayed his knowledge of past games (and Pilchard has just completely lied about his), so maybe Buzz knows more than he is letting on and is wisely over-playing his newbie status to keep himself in the background.

If I were doc, I'd protect San for sure - only to keep him from killing off an innocent:swingin:

    Nutjob:yes, buzz, right?

Yeah. He protected Cyb on night one, which was a perfectly reasonable decision for a newbie. I think he protected him on night two as well.
  17.
on pg 116, Cyb asserts that San is either mafia or traitor and San fires off a vote in Cyb's direction soon thereafter.

As I've said before, it seems to me that the mafia would not be keen to engage San in confrontation like this since they wouldn't want to entice him to pull them down with him in case he dies. On the other hand, San is in no serious danger of being lynched today so maybe a mafioso could take such a dare.

Did Buzz post at all today ? (too lazy to check) I trust he will get a PM in. If he is AWOL, perhaps this would be the time for the mob to get fancy and go for that no-hit. (It would have the additional benefit of irritating our Hunter by placing the town in an even-numbered position at the start of the day  )
