Awesome, Toom, TRK, Pie and ew all in the frame...With none of us heading suspect lists!

I'll get on and post something a bit creative when the thread's unlocked.

I also have a feeling that Suited Jock is just a normal innocent. He's barely been about and doesn't seem to be taking it too seriously. I don't think we have to worry about hitting him for a good while.

Lots of talk about outing the detective...Should we be supporting this? I've got a post done in its favour. Think I should try and post some proper theories today.

Yes, I think we should support an outing, but we shold also say that the detective should only reveal known mafia, not known innocents. He probably has investigated no more than 1 of us so far (since we are so little suspicious), and he won`t be able to help then really.
BUT we have the advantage of knowing who he is then, and we also know who the doctor is going to protect then.

    I love this...

Looks like EW or TRK are dead today and then the other tomorrow...But I have a feeling the detective may investigate the one who survives.

Anyhow, we seem to be ahead of the game. If we can nail another special today, I think ITHica is ours!!

Think you're right. I was thinking about one of us pretending to be the detective, but it would only work if we got in there ahead of the real one. It would set up a head to head clash, as in game 2 when the real detective comes forward.

Worth the sacrifice? Of course it gives them another certain mafia to kill the next day...

I think McFoldem might be the detective...

I propose him as an early whacking candidate!

Guys this is my post from page 9:

My ideas on who the detective or doctor might be:

IT MUST BE ONE OF THESE PEOPLE:
    Cicerous
    Irishiain
    McFoldem
    Piemaster
    Spoonie
    SG
    SJ
    Toom

I don't think Cicerius is the detective because of his latest post:

"We've lost five innocents, and as far as I can see we don't have any strong candidates for a lynching . . .Unless someone has another plan we need to at least consider the Detective coming out."

I think irishiain may be the doctor or detective (leaning towards doctor) for 2 reasons:
    1) He has not mentioned either the doctor or detective a single time (basically his same strategy for when he was in the mafia).
    2) He has not accused ANY of us (barely anyone in fact) so if he is the detective he knows NOTHING.

I don't think McFoldem is Detective: look at his latest post he is WAY off - not only on theories but facts as well, if he is the detective it may be more useful keeping him around :). As per his post on the bottom of page 28 - he is not following the voting himself rather he is relying on nside (the detective or doc would probably want to be more organized).

Pie MIGHT be the detective this post is very striking:
"I have had my suspicions about Toro since Day 1 and not because he supported the Darvon plan."

Also this post by pie is kind of putting him in the detective seat:
"I don't think it would be the worst thing in the world if we didn't lynch anyone today, not while the detective is still alive and detectiving." HE IS THE FIRST (and one of only 2) PEOPLE TO SUGGEST NOT LYNCHING - only the detective would have any real motivation/knowledge to propose stopping a lynching. He also proposes lists on day 1 (nobody is following the suggestion thankfully) which would be a great boon to him if he is the detective.

Spoonie might also be detective: He seems to trust pie immensly for no particular reason (page 36 middle). But honestly I don't think he is - he is just way too jumpy (as in he's all over the place).

Steve asks a lot of questions but doesn't really commit to anything at all - I think he may be the doctor.

SJ - I just don't know SJ usually very vocal (in IRC and on the board) yet in this game he is pretty quiet. Apparently I am the only one on his "watch list"? Anyway because of his quietness he may be the doctor I don't think he's the detective.

Toom - if you read his post after Darvon's lynching he is overly defensive, this may be because he knows he MUST survive. (I don't think the same can be said of TRK because he asks us to lynch him and he is speaking TO the detective).

I think we definitely need to lynch one of these people tommorow - preferably:
    Irishiain
    Piemaster
    SG
    SJ
    Toom

We have a 2/5 chance of being correct right now . . . if we are wrong than the next night it's 50/50.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are my current ideas on each person:
Cicerous: same thing as before I don't think he's either doc or det
Irishiain: He hasn't posted ANYTHING since thursday . . . don't know what that means but I'm willing to speculate that he's not a special character.
McFoldem: I think he is the detective read his 4-5 most recent posts
    Spoonie: I think he's regular
SG: I'm leaning towards him being innocent but possibly doctor
    SJ: innocent IMO
Toom: Hard to get a read on him but he seems totally confused

No clue who the doctor is.

I'm thinking a vote for TRK will go through today and one for evv98 tommorow.

    About our own voting patterns:
    On day 1:
    Aupanner didn't vote
    ey didn't vote
    malteg didn't vote
    Russki voted for no one
    Toronexti voted for Darvon

    On day 2:
    Aupanner votes TRK
    ey votes TheWhale
    Malteg votes Thewhale
    Russki votes TheWhale
    Toronexti votes TheWhale

    On day 3:
    Aupanner votes TRK
    ey votes TRK
    Malteg votes No one
    Russki doesn't vote
    Toronexti doesn't vote

anyone see any connections between us 5 - I thought I saw something but on closer inspection everything seems pretty unaffiliated.

We do need a lynching today BTW.

    McFoldem says:

"So we stand at 9-5, if we lynch an innocent and they hit an innocent tonight it will be 7-5 (hope my math is right). I am leaning toward seeing our Detective's list I think."

My god this is good. We've got them so confused that they've got no clue. Sure most of them have at least one of us in their top 5 but no enough to rally a lynching. We've got to find the detective and pronto.

I think McFolem's right. At least a couple of the detective's investigations are dead at this point.

the detective for sure investigated pie, possibly even cybrarian, I also think the detective would've investigated TRK. So that leaves 1-2 people for him to investigate and me being the only plausible mafia member (and even there it's not more likely than SJ, Toom, spoonie, or cicerous). So I have a feeling the detective is just as clueless as everyone else.

    4-0 because:

Day 4 - they lynch evv
night 4 - we kill someone
Day 5 - they lynch TRK
night 5 - we kill someone

Is there an easy way to figure out where each of the people on your list are located? I imagine, from the timing of the overnights, that at least one of them is a Euro. The game hasn't been waiting on just us each night.

I don't think we should kill either TRK or evv98 - that's too obvious. Instead we should kill a low volume poster (spoonie or irishiain at this point) or a high volume poster (Mcfoldem or cicerous)

I think there's an extremely good chance that we will win this game untouched . . . we only have to avoid 1-2 lynchings which is easy since we control almost a majority of votes. The innocents are fragmented and confused if we so desired we could decide to str8 up shift 5 votes towards 1 individual and they wouldn't be able to stop the lynching
