I think we need to get irish, SJ, and SG to contribute more aswell

What do you think about this?

Afternoon everyone:

As yesterday, I'm going to go on and vote to lynch TRK. If anything, the give and take with Evv today makes him more likely to be mafia in my mind. If he's not, then I don't doubt that Evv is. I'm going with TRK's voting pattern to pick him over Evv.

Also, I know in one of my posts yesterday that I promised a list today. A combination of a work and Pie's killing changing some of my thoughs stopped that from happening. Assuming a lynching doesn't occur before I go to bed tonight, you'll have my suspect list.

As for the detective posting a list. He's been doing a good job of lying low so far. I'm going to trust his judgement. If he hasn't found at least one mafia then all it will accomplish is making him a target.

I know you're not around Jim, but I did want to say that due to the time difference, it may appear that we dont'care about your opinon on who to kill. I'm just casting the vote based on a majority of our votes.

I read each of your posts and take them into account when casting my vote. I slos wanted to let you know taht I really appreciate the input your giving. Just wish we were all closer in time zones so all five of us could post at the same time.

I don't understand what your saying with this:

"If anything, the give and take with Evv today makes him more likely to be mafia in my mind. If he's not, then I don't doubt that Evv is"

A few too many pronouns I think.

Instead of saying that pie changed your suspect list why not say that you were too busy at work and will have it tonight?

The rest is fine I think

As for the detective posting a list. He's been doing a good job of lying low so far. I'm going to trust his judgement. If he hasn't found at least one mafia then all it will accomplish is making him a target.

hey aupanner - yes it's going well looks like we've cooked TRK's goose!
1.
Someone asked:
Nside did you specifically wait on vigilante to send you a PM prior to ending the night?
I only wait for the mafia, dectective and doctor. The vig has to move fast.

Evv lookes like he's medium-well himself. If one goes, the others goes the next night unless the detective intervenes. That will give us a good crack at the doc. I'm reading as a guest, just a page or 2 at a time, then leave so as to look like a visitor.
• CommentAuthortoronexti

They can't tell if a visitor is reading everything or how long the visitor is there for.
• CommentAuthorAuPanner
• CommentTimeApr 30th 2006

But the visitor count on the main page will show if someone is on the site and when they leave. If I post or become visible right after a visitor leaves, they may put the pieces together. I've been the only visitor twice, don't want to give them any chances!

Ok, guys, try this on for size. The TRK/evv feud gives us 2 free shots at the doc, which makes being the detective much harder if the doc is dead. He's trying to contribute, but not enough that he pisses someone off and gets lynched accidentally. I can't figure out the detective (cicerius and spoonie are my choices) and I reckon the doc is reading deep into posts trying to find him. So, who is on the sidelines but trying to subtly make his opinions felt?

1) cicerius He even points out his list is much like pie's. Hmmm. Great post-mortem tell to the town if he gets wacked/lynched. Possible doc.

2) spoonie He has mentioned twice my perceived timing mistake about darvon's plan. The discussion was among Brits early in the morning and I commented on it a few hours after "they" had decided it was no longer germane to the entire board. That's a weak link but it's all I have, and it is directed at me.

3) irishiain Darn near as quiet as me. I think several are looking at my silence as very detective-like. irish has been quietly observing. Doc or detective?

4) SteveGriff Computer problems or a way to lay low?

Why not kill SJ? He may well be the detective. Any thinking person in that role would have come out today - but if he has no internet access, that would be an explanation for the silence.

The more I read this the funnier it gets. Cicerous and McFoldem are truly convinced that toom is mafia, and he's convinced they are. This is just great. I'm noping Mcfoldem switches and we get another vote to close the thing.

I think we should try to have evv lynched. He already has 4 votes, and if we let toom survive, he will probably cry "Cicerius is mafia!!!!" all day long on the next day.

so there are 13 people - 1 detective, 1 doctor, 5 mafia, 6 innocents or 8-5

If we lynch someone today the score will be 7-5

with the killing tonight the score will be 6-5

with a lynching the following day the score will be 5-5 and we win - we don't even need a lynching, a non-lynching makes us win also (unless by some miracle the doctor is able to save someone).
