I was on when riss sign on about 0600EDT and he mentioned something about having a Russian lesson today. Don't know how long that'll take. Early May is a big celebration for the end of The Great Patriotic War, i.e. WWII so he might get caught up in things. I think toro is in class. Great, a college student who actually attends, lol.

I think we've still got a good chance. Looks like Cic is divided over who to kill if Suited is innocent, fingers toom...

I think he's our man. Hope irish doesn't investigate him. I recommend killing Cic or McFoldem tonight...have a feeling McF is the doc...

Ok I'll go along with a cicerous kill.

I attend class but the real reason is that I've just started this lit review which is gonna take a shitload of my time and so I was online but focusing on somehting a little different.

Yes Malteg - you had me convinced you were innocent for most of the game (actually all of it) well played.

So he investigated toom, I wonder if we're better off trynig and just split the vote. One of us can drum up support for spoonie, one for McFoldem and maybe we get lucky and lynch one of them.

That or we split the vote and win the thing anyways.

Guys, be careful. I'm curious if irish isn't playing us a little bit. A good strategy by the detective would be to say I investigated so and so and he's innocnet, and really have investigated someone else to gauge our reactions.

If I were you I wouldn't accuse Mcfoldem. You of couse can indirectly, but if you directly accuse him, I think they'll be forced to choose between you and him. If they do so I think they'll go with you based on Pie's suspicions earlier.

Our goal today needs to be splitting the vote. If we can get one innocent to buy Mcfoldem or Spoonie the game's over.

you have to remember the detective has NOT given them a mafia tonight - this is exactly what we needed.

they HAVE to lynch either:

Toronexti
McFoldem
Spoonie
Aupanner
Russkijim
ey215

they have a 4/6 chance of getting the vote right, HOWEVER, SJ, Toom, irish, and Spoonie are not very strong on thier own - we have eliminated all those that were the "brains." thus we they are left with a choice between lynching Mcfoldem or Toronexti as the only 2 that did not vote.

We need Mcfoldem to say as much as possible and then use his words against him - let's put the pressure on him

the count is 5-4 a no vote and we have a very good chance of winning (the doctor if he is smart enough may realize that we wouldn't go for the detective and probably one of the innocents - and so may decide to protect one of them instead). However, we cannot assume the doctor will do this, so we can't attempt to assasinate the detective. Our only options will be Toom, Mcfoldem, spoonie, SJ - since there is a chance the doctor can protect one of these guys I'd say we would have a 75% chance of winning if we get a no-vote

reread maltegs detective coming out post:

He says:

irish: 100% mafia

Toom: 95% mafia

Russki, Aupanner, SJ, ey215, Toronexti: laying low 3/5 mafia

Spoonie: probably innocent

Mcfoldem, cicerius: 100% innocent

The reality (as they know it):

irish: 100% detective
Toom: 100% innocent
SJ: 100% innocent
Russki, AU, ey, Toro: they don't know
Spoonie: they don't know
McFoldem: they don't know

He said that 3 of the known innocents were all mafia - so who would he say is innocent? All mafia DUH!

OK - I just wrote this post up tell me what you think:

OK I just read the whole thread from the last place I left off (prior to the detectives coming out). Here is what we know right now:

AuPanner -- Unknown
ey215 -- Unknown
irishiain -- Detective
McFoldem -- Unknown
Risskijim -- Unknown
Spoonie -- Unknown
SuitedJock -- Innocent
Toom -- Innocent
toronexti -- Unknown

I think the most important clue we have is Malteg's coming out post:
I think the following:

irishiain - 100% mafia because of investigation

toom - 95% mafia: his posts are EXTREMELY suspicious: wild accusations that are proven completely wrong etc...

Russkijim, AuPanner, SJ, ey215, toronexti: These guys are laying extremely low. I would say that probably 3 of these 5 are mafia, but I really don`t know who.

Spoonie: His posts before the evv lynching were somewhat fishy, but if he was drunk, that might explain that. Probably innocent.

McFoldem, cicerius: 100% innocent because of investigation
The reality as we know it is this:

Irish: 100% innocent (detective)
Toom: 100% innocent
SJ: 100% innocent
Russ, Au, ey, Toro: unknown
Spoonie: unknown
Mcfoldem: unknown

Malteg says that 3 people who we know to be innocent are mafia - OK that makes sense since he wanted us to lynch all mafia. But where would he place the mafia?

Obviously he would place at least 1 mafia (if not both) as an almost certain innocent, i.e. either McFoldem or Spoonie. The rest he would place into the unknown catergory. Therefore I think our choice is clear - we have to lynch either Mcfoldem or Spoonie. I don't know who is the better choice but I'd say this is our best chance at winning. Let's take the flip and hope our QQ holds up vrs their AK.
