General poker malaise.

September 26th, 2006 · Posted in Uncategorized, poker ·

I seem to have relatively little interest in poker the past week or so.  I’ve played very little and not really been very into it when I did play.  This may be because I had one of those sessions where I lost set over set every time I turned around, or to some insane suckout.  More likely, I’m just in a phase of disinterest.  I’m thinking about playing some more MTTs for a while.  They seem to amuse me lately.

My MTT infatuation lasted about a week or two, during which time I cashed almost every time, but never got to the final table. Since then I haven’t really had the time to play more.

That seems to be the biggest problem with them. At least cash games I can sit down for an hour and it’s useful. It’s quite rare that I can commit that many hours in one go to playing a tourney. And, of course, they’re mostly on at fairly awkward times if you live in the UK.

Welcome to the club, Nside. I’ve felt this way for about a year. Take some time off and re-group.

Best to you and SuitedPair.
